Why the Monday theme? .. start of another week and time for a change. We have been living just off Soi 22 for 4 years now and we are looking to move further out of the city centre to experience something a little different and move to a 2 bedroom for less than we pay for a one bedroom in the heart of Bangkok.
Jaidan is getting older and need a park to play in. We may also place him in a regular school as he is turning 3 at the end of July. Will we like it? Time will tell, but a change is warranted.
The biggest difference is what will happen when Thavorn goes out with her friends. She has never been a fan of taking a taxi at night by herself. I suggested she just stay at her friends apartment and come back the next morning. The same will happen when her friends visit. I suggest they just stay over and have breakfast in the morning before departing.
I was out Saturday night for a few hours and it was really busy at Cowboy. Much of the traffic in the bars was due to groups of young Chinese men out for a night in the bars. They have discovered the City of Angeles and seem to fit right in, unlike the taciturn Japanese who tend to be much older and smoke like chimneys.
Other than that, not much is new. I am getting a little bit excited about visiting Canada on August the 8th for a month.

I look forward to seeing your new residence. Being further away from nightlife is probably a good thing. It's everywhere anyway, just smaller scale. Even in rural China there were little places to go to have a TsingTao (Chinese brand of beer)
