When you are house bound due to self isolating restrictions there is lots of time to reflect. We tend to forget that many people don't have the option of sitting out the pandemic and are exposed to the risk daily due to their jobs.
For some workers such as mail or parcel delivery the risks are minimal as they they don't interact with many people other than their coworkers who are hopefully not contagious. For other workers such as staff in a hospital setting, whether medical or admnistrative staff, the choice to avoid the pandemic is not left up to them. Workers who are deemed essential to the country have no choice.
So, we should not complain as we have the choice and we should not forget the front line staff who do not have a choice!
I have a cousin (Jill) in England and she is front line in a hospital so this is a big shout out to Jill for making a difference in the fight to control the pandemic. Kudos to you Jill :-)
Meanwhile back in the house, we headed off to the Asian food store (TnT) to buy some chicken feet (among other Asian delights) for Thavorn. The store was limiting entry by checking temperature, ensuring you wore a mask, and controlling the number of people in the store. Interesting that there were few farangs shopping, mostly Asians.
When we arrived back at the house Thavorn treated herself to some spicy chicken feet for her supper. Jaidan and I declined to dine :-)
We continue to video chat online, read via the internet, and exercise. The exercise is necessary as we also tend to snack way too much.
Take care ...
